Basic Mathematics is the foundational course of college mathematics. It covers all the basic math concepts and topics, including both fundamentals and topics that are more advanced.
Basic Mathematics has two parts: Foundational and More Advanced. Foundational includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations. More Advanced includes geometry concepts like right angles, triangles, and parabolas.
Most college courses have a Basic Mathematics component, but some do not. Students who are prepared for geometry concepts in high school can take a course called Geometry at the College Level, which has a similar format to Basic Mathematics, but adds additional topics like trigonometry and algebraic notation.

Geometry
Geometry is the study of building and understanding shapes and forms. Building with geometric shapes such as squares, triangles, and circles is a fundamental tool for math 115.
Many things in life are shaped like something else, which is why it is called geometry. When Math-I students use their knowledge of triangles and squares to solve problems, they are practicing geometry.
Solving problems using logic and reasoning is also a form of geometry. When students use Pythagorean theorem to find the value of a certain number on a posters, they are solving a geometry problem.
Logic games or situation based games require the student to use their knowledge of geometry to answer questions. These types of questions can be simple or complicated depending on what you want the student to know.
When building or designing objects or things that look like what they say they do, these situations teach about geometry because they ask for different sizes and shapes to create something that looks like what it says it does.
Group theory
Group theory is a way to study mathematics that has similarities to physics, again making it fun for young students. It involves looking at examples and studying their answers, but not from a analytical standpoint.
group theory does not require math knowledge either. You can learn group theory without any mathematics at all!
As you can see, there are many ways to learn math, and group theory is one of the most basic.

A new academic field called math theory is growing and developing. There are several leading organizations that sponsor math theory courses, create credit options for it, and encourage students to take it.
The term math theory can refer to many things, but the most important part is the concept of fields. A field has a specific area of focus that remains constant while other aspects of the object change.
For example, look at this picture of a book: there is definitely an area of focus, but not only that but also in light and contrast. The area of focus depends on what type of book you are talking about.
There are many fields in college such as theoretical physics or humanities where you can develop a strong field theory. You can take an intensive course with someone who teaches you how to develop these fields in yourself.
Calculus derivatives
Calculus derivatives are a powerful way to break down algebra and trigonometry into basic, easy-to-understand terms. When you learn how to use calculus derivatives, you can solve for the value of an unknown variable in a specific context!
Many times, when looking up values of an equation or determining the value of a function, the derivative of a variable is what you need. The derivative of x at a certain point y can be computed by applying the derivative of x with respect to y at another point z.
Calculus derivatives are one of the most important parts of mathematics on the front end.
Probability
Probability is one of the most basic and important concepts in mathematics. If you don’t know what probability is, you can’t understand how to apply it in a math class.
Probability is how likely something is to happen. In college, probability classes teach you probability, but not how to use it in a class.
In the classroom, they use the word probability to mean different things. As an example, when someone says that a certain thing is probably true, they are using the word probable as an adjective.
As another example, when someone says that a certain event is probably true, they are using the word probable as an adverb. A third example might be that when someone says that no one ever gets good at probability, they are using the word probabilistic to describe whether or not it is true.
A good probablistic piece of information can be uselessly complicated and confusing, making it hard to tell if students are understanding it or not.
Statistics
Statistics is a broad field that encompasses everything about and for people who do mathematics. There are many ways to study statistics, but the main way is through the courses.
Most of the courses in statistics are two-year programs, so you will have to take some theory before you can learn how to use statistics. In these programs, you will take a series of classes on different topics and finally get together and learn how to use statistics.
The first few years of a program are devoted mostly to learning theory and getting ready for the classes. During these years, you may go back to school to get your professional degrees in statistics or just continue learning in your personal career.
This can go on for several years as new professionals enter the field.
Complex numbers
Complex numbers are a central component of many areas of science, education, and study. For example, you learn the trigonometry in which contains the rotation of the Earth in which middle school. Or if you went to college in which case!
Complex numbers have a very interesting and complex identity problem. This problem can be frustrating and confusing at times. However, it is important to understand this number system so that you can solve difficult problems or prepare for tests.
When studying algebra or geometry, you already know what the basic properties of anger are. One of those basic equations is the identity equation: x = x. You know what happens when you change anything else into x in those fields.
