Who are the oppressors?
The word oppressor can have several meanings, which is why it is important to be aware of who oppresses whom.
When the Bible refers to government, it is referring to the government of Israel during the first half of the twentieth century. At that time, the government oppressed its citizens by confiscating property and instituting severe social norms and regulations.
Since then, there have been times when the government oppressed its citizens, but this does not mean that every member of the government does so always. The people in power at that time were willing to stop oppression when enough people demanded change.
In contrast, when the Bible refers to government, it is usually referring to a person or group in power who oppresses someone or some person or group. This can happen between people or groups with no physical oppression, or with physical (oppress) and mental (repress) oppression.
Who are the oppressed?
The word oppressed doesn’t just mean someone is being physically or emotionally weak. In the Bible, it also refers to people who are being treated unjustly.
The term oppressed describes people who are being treated less than you think they deserve. They are being wronged by someone else.
It’s a powerful word, one you must use with care. If you use it too much, others will start to see you as being oppressed, and you will be forced to do things your way.
If you feel like something is oppression, there are three things that must be true of you: You must feel like you are dying for what you believe in, that God is oppressing you, and that I am doing what I have to stop me from feeling like I’m fighting a losing battle.
Examples of biblical oppression
In the bible, there are many examples of oppression that people are forced to endure. These oppressions range from physical to psychological.
Some of the examples include being enslaved, living in poverty, being disrespected, and not having a voice. All of these things impact your health and mental health in some way.
Being oppressed doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it can be life-changing. When you feel powerless and unable to defend yourself, you feel less valued and loved. You don’t have a voice and you don’t get what you need.
When people have a voice, they can get their needs addressed. With a lot of people having little voices for themselves, it can be hard to know when to speak and who to address.
Violence against women
In the Bible, there are several references to violence against women. These include male rape, female genital mutilation, and the practice of stoning women who try to get involved with men outside of marriage.
Male rape is mentioned four times in the Bible and female genital mutilation is mentioned twice. The two instances of mutilation that are described are for women’s genitals but are not specified as such.
The reason both male rape and female genital mutilation are described as violence is because they involve physical action against a woman, usually without her consent. Female genital mutilation is done by either cutting or removing part or all of the outside edge of the vaginal tube.
Poverty
Being poor is a frequent occurrence in the Bible. The word poverty appears more than 400 times in the Old and New Testaments, and nearly all of these references involve people living under extreme poverty.
Racism
Racism is a form of discrimination that happens when someone believes that the presence of a group or group is good or successful and decides to reject or inferiority of another group.
In the Bible, racism has been referred to as white supremacy, racial supremacy, racial privilege, and racial injustice. White privilege refers to the fact that people of color are often allowed to enjoy certain benefits while members of other groups are not.
White supremacy was an important part of society until the late 20th century, when it was replaced by systems that recognize and address race as an integral part of identity.

Many modern religions encourage this type of hating of sin. In parts of the United States, gay sex can be a “fad” (see Lev 18:22; 22:54; 20:12; 21:13). These beliefs are propagated by government, but come from the heart through the Bible.
Religion as oppression

Every person from old to young reads a book or watches a movie or hears a sermon. Even people without any religious beliefs watch religious movies and books for entertainment purposes.
For many, religion is an important part of their life experience. For example, women spend more time in church than men and children particularly love attending church because of the stories they hear and read about characters getting into trouble but being rescued by a good man or woman.
However, there are some groups in society that have more power than others and this leads to discrimination, exploitation, etc. This article will discuss some examples of religion as oppression and how it can be replaced with other forms of worship such as non-monotheistic (non-god) types.
