Checking the oil

Before you start, make sure the engine is turned off and out of harm’s way. Then, carefully remove the old filter using a wrench.
You can do this either by removing two screws or two tabs that hold the fuel filter in place, or by taking out the pump assembly that holds the fuel filter. Once removed, the old filter can be discarded.
To replace it, take your wrench and tighten up one end of the new fuel filtering unit until it fits into place and pulls through the old unit. Then, repeat with the other end to make sure it is secure.
