Rosa Parks was the first African-American woman to be honored with a U.S. National Historic Site, which is called Tuskegee Airmen. She was also one of the first black people to be nominated for a Nobel Prize, in 1955.

Despite numerous attempts to shame her into changing her mind, Rosa Parks persistently defended segregation. She refused to move to the back of the bus with her children in tow because she saw a black person sitting in the back.
This defiance was persistent. After years of fighting against segregation, Parks remained on the same bus as her children throughout their school day and into the next.

They are also less likely to get upset orExcited when people talk about things and events. This is because they pay more attention to what is happening in the present moment and feel supported by doing so.
Their calmness comes from being able to control their breathing while speaking which is controlled prosody. They can control how fast, how loud, and how long they speak which support the other parts of their speech.
Their self-control comes from wanting to do something but not enough time or money to do it. Being able to control when and what you want to do takes self-control.
Self-control
One of the central traits of a hero is the ability to control their emotions and actions. When you’re faced with a challenging situation, you must choose whether to control yourself or let your self-control fail you.
Being able to control your emotions is one of the most important ways to succeed at anything. If you’re angry, then do something to keep that anger in check. If you’re happy, then don’t make that joy outshine other things happening in your life.
Having self-control isn’t enough when it comes to getting your way out of a problem. You need it when there are no alternatives available, and when you know you will have to live with the consequences. You need it even more when there is no easy way out and then.
Being able to control your actions can make the difference between sitting back and doing what someone else wants while they try to be nice, and making an effort to keep from being angry or disappointed in how they respond.
Socially conscious
Being a proud member of the black community, Rosa Parks was raised to respect and appreciate your rights as an American citizen. She was also taught that your responsibilities as an individual came with the responsibilities of your family.
She was also taught that being honest and taking responsibility were parts of being a person. She was shown how to be socially conscious by being accepted into white society and being rewarded for her honesty.
She used her rights as an American citizen to take action against social injustice in her community and worldwide. Her kindness and acceptance of others eventually led to her success as an activist.
Her faith helped guide her actions as she realized what we all need to improve on in our daily lives.
Strong-willed
As the majority leader of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Rosa Parks was a fierce advocate for her people. She fought for equal rights for all, no matter their race, gender, or ability.
She was also determined to lead a strong career in her profession. As chairwoman of the Board of Directors at an NAACP chapter, she continues to work hard to improve social and racial justice in her community.
Her determination carried over into her personal life as well. She never gave up on her husband or children and always sought their happiness and success.
Even after retirement, she continued to work with other organizations and raise awareness about issues.
Unafraid
Without her boldness, Rosa Parks would have been considered timid. She was afraid to stand up for what she wanted, so she instead chose a different way to get what she wanted.
She was also unafraid to speak her mind, which was what got her into trouble. She knew how wrong segregation is, and she refused to take a seat in a bus that did not allow only white people.
