Delta is an American airline that focuses on value and convenience. You can find all of your needs met with Delta, as they have numerous flights to most major cities in the Unitedeast, as well as many small towns throughout the United States.
Their prices are expensive compared to other airlines, but they make up for it by having a long-standing reputation and being known for their customer service. They also have a low rate of bankruptcycies which validate their quality services, which is why people use them.

As mentioned before, the cost ofDelta is high due to limited supply. Because of this, you should buy airline miles at a higher rate than if there were no limited supplysers.
Many airlines offer bonus miles for selling large amounts of airline miles. For example, American Airlines offers 2 million bonus Delta miles for selling 3,000 Alaska Airlines Avios reward points.
Seat Limited is an obscure airline owned entity that offers more flights from smaller cities to large cities at a lower rate than the company that operates Delta. These seats can cost thousands of dollars!
If you are looking to earn more rewards for your time, then this is the right program for you.
High demand
As we mentioned earlier, the cost of airline tickets is changing as more people fly. There are growing costs associated with flying and the availability of seats has increased over the past year.
This is making it more expensive to travel as the prices have gone up! Luckily, Delta has been very efficient in providing cheaper ticket sale prices than their competition.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean every consumer will be successful in getting a lower priced ticket. Many flight vendors offer lower priced tickets but won’t sell them due to safety concerns. It is hard to get a cancellation or transfer allowed when flying with Delta, so expect to pay more!
Another thing that might make flight tickets cost you more is increased demand due to current events. Because there are so many people traveling at this time, there are higher fares offered for national event days.
Located near airports
As mentioned earlier, airports are a hub location for numerous airlines. This can make it more or less expensive to flydepending on which airline you fly against.
Additionally, since most airlines connect at airports, you will have more flights in and out of the airport. This cost money due to construction projects and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
The majority of flights are local, so there is not much need for additional infrastructure except for the plane. Most of these upgrades are cosmetic only, as your boarding and departing process is slower.
If you are looking up airline prices using an app on your phone, be prepared to pay more at the gate due to added infrastructure needs. It is also important that you have enough money in your account to cover these costs as well as any actual flight costs.
Limited seating space
While there are a few hard seats in the back of the plane, most of the time you will be asked to stand up and move into the available seating. This is due to the limited amount of seats and how close they are together.
This is also why there are no armrests in the available seating. When there are no seats available, there is no need for an armrest to put between passengers.
When there are limited seats, a method of organization is used to make sure people get what they want when purchasing aircraft tickets.
Mostly families with at least two children buy two separate tickets– one for themselves and one for the next child that wants to travel. The theory being that if one child misses school due to not being able to go on time, then another can travel early to make up for it.
This arrangment works fine until one child wants to fly later in their vacation and others don’t have planes until then.
Poor customer service
I’ve been a fan of Delta for many years now. I was introduced to them by my grandmother who flew them when they were called East Delta Airlines. She recommended them because of their good customer service and affordable prices.
Since she passed away, I have continued to fly them and I have never had a problem with them. Recently, however, I found something very annoying about their service.
They use an app called Delta Connection which connects your phone or computer to the airline’s website and provides you with frequent flight alerts, map updates, and even live chat support.
Unfortunately, this app doesn’t work too well on my phone and always causes me issues when trying to sign in. It takes several minutes for it to recognize my account and provide me with assistance.
Whenever I need assistance from the airline, I have to go through this app. It is extremely slow and difficult to use without having an account.
Limited complimentary services
Many airlines charge for things like checked luggage, airline tickets sold online, and complimentary items like snacks. Some offer free items but at a cost.
If you want to fly with another airline, you have to pay for extra services from your standard fee. For example, if you flew JetBlue with me, you would have to pay Delta Airlines’ service charges because they are larger and provide additional services like check-in services and priority boarding.
These charges can be expensive. For example, I paid $18 on my last trip with Delta because I wanted to use their in-flight entertainment services and was charged $19 plus taxes and fees. On that same trip, I also bought the ticket through deltaairlines.com because the airport shuttle did not come free with Delta!
On the bright side, this may be changing soon as Delta is being acquired by American Airlines which will make them more affordable.
Elevated food options
Having a diverse and well-balanced selection of foods is an important part of wellness. You can’t consume essential nutrients and energy without converting any cells into energy, so having healthy options with your flight is a nice touch.
Delta has some good choices when it comes to food, but not all airlines have them both right and wrong.
On Delta, you have the option to order a salad or another food choice delivered to your seat, but you must pay for each additional item you order. Also, the large salads available are limited to what kinds of toppings they offer on top of the standard greens.
But both of these things are issues that many people deal with daily, so having options that allow for more control over your diet is better than none.
