Brickmania is a relatively new arcade game being introduced to arcades and home consoles around 2010. It is a competitive brick throwing game where you try to build the most towers by linking two or more neighboring bricks together.
When your tower is large enough, you can then link these towers together to create larger structures such as bridges and cities. You can also try your luck at competing in the lottery for a badge which gives you an automatic win in every round!
During the game, you will notice that there are grid-like pieces of real estate called ‘zones’. Each zone has one or more rulers on top of a clockface-looking timer. The goal is to make your tower survive as long as possible while matching the rules of the game according to what zone it is.

Limited runs
One of the most common complaints about brick shows is the limited run. Most vendors have a minimum number of bricks they want to put into circulation, and only those bricks are available for purchase.
This is a problem for both the vendor and attendees at a show because fewer bricks = more expensive!
Some people can afford the occasional brick, but if there are moreiago-waved around at $10 a brick, then it must be $20 at that higher level.
If you want one of the very limited runs, you better buy it now or pay more when it is sold out. This is why there is usually just one per show, two days of vendor space being needed to make sure they have enough inventory.
High-quality bricks
When you purchase blue, white, and red bricks in brickmania, you are also responsible for purchasing a minimum of one small block of each color. This is because brick has red, white, and blue pieces in it, making it a hard material.
While there are areas that use all three colors together, you are usually required black and clear to make your brick Balanced.
Huge base plates
The first thing that concerns me about brickmania is the size of the base plates. They are called base plates because they are the foundation for your Brickman. These bricks can be mixed together, making it more challenging or less depending on what you want!
Brickmania is big! There’s no getting around that. Most places offer two sizes: small or large. In order to challenge yourself, you must purchase a larger size.
I am talking about two different kinds of challenges here, but let’s get back to the challenge part. The first kind of challenge I am talking about is the Smart Challenge. These challenges require you to think outside the box and build something that will last longer.
The second kind of challenge is the Project Challenge. These challenges require you to put in some effort and create a new project to work on.
Expensive shipping
The all-time most expensive item you can buy in brickmania is $100. This price does not include the brickboxes that you open when they are delivered, which are valued at around $12 a piece.
You do not receive any points for opening these boxes, however! If you were looking to buy this in advance, then you would need to purchase it at a store like Target or Amazon, where it is already packaged and sold.
And even then, the odds are high that you would lose or damage the box before trying to build anything with it.
Complexity of designs
The power of design is in the design itself. Having the right design for the right situation can make or break your build.
Brickmania is a relatively simple game to design. You pick a color and then choose one of five shapes to use on your brick. The challenge is to combine these shapes into a complete block.
The challenge in this game is similar to those in pastatiche, but now there are more pieces to work with. In pastatiche, you had just the two sides of the piece you were building, but now there are usually three sides!
This added complexity makes for a more challenging game to design. It also adds more material to work with which requires changing color schemes or using different shaped bricks.
Whether you go for simple or complex, if you do, you will most likely lose because of how powerful the designs are.
Famous founders
While not an exclusive feature of Brickmania, many founder-themed games offer their own way to create a membership level and gain access to new features and updates. In some cases, these founder levels are given as rewards for playing the game or for creating an account.
These levels can vary from full ownership to providing special privileges like early access to new content or discounts on existing products. The goal is to reward players for being the successful leader they have created in the community, whether that’s financial compensation or social recognition.
While this may not apply to you, it can bring attention to your game and create more loyalty between players. It also creates a system where members can easily see what others have earned and reward themselves accordingly.

Many bricklayers choose solid colors for their accents, so if you like the black-and-red theme of Brickmania, you would spend more to get the print you want. Reinterpreted as an army-green theme with reds and oranges, you would spend more to get the print that matches your team.
High-end materials used
While most block parties are made out of cinderblocks, iron, and concrete, not all party theme block parties are created equal.
Some are made with high-quality materials such as glass or leatherInvitations and decorations. These parties may cost a little more than the standard party which is cinderblocks, glass, and a table top.
These parties are beautiful and worth looking into!
Some are easy-to-make party themes like the classic cake toppers or color schemes you can imagine on the dinner plates. Still worth checking out!
And some are very basic like a wall covered in stickers or a box of toys provided for fun games.
