Store your Oil in a tight container with a thick cover. The more storage space the less time to process the Oil and receive an adequate amount of lubrication.
Do not keep your Oil for very long before using it due to its expiry date. If the Oil has expired, then use it immediately!

Oil leaking from valve cover
When a car is parked, the oil inside the car may flow out of one or more of the valve cover holes. The most common reason this happens is when the car is parked for a short period of time – for example, while someone drives past, takes a parking spot, and then leaves the car parked until someone drives by and parks.
This happens because when someone parks their car, they leave the oil in one of the valve cover holes. This allows any water that accumulates to escape as it cools down.
Another reason this may happen is if your vehicle was recently checked by an engineer and one or more parts were replaced, suggesting a faulty seal.
How to fix this issue? First, you must depressurize your brake system by removing both brake pedals and letting them sit for at least five minutes. Then, you can use an old screwdriver to depress and release the oil pressure valves in order to let water escape and cool down.
Oil leaking from oil filter housing
When a car is parked, the oil filter housing may move up and down due to internal friction. This can cause oil to leak out of the housing.
This is a fairly common problem and it is not too serious unless you are having trouble shifting or operating your vehicle as expected.
If this happens, call a car repair shop immediately! It may be necessary to shift or operate your vehicle’s gearbox or transmission to resolve the issue.
There are several reasons this happens. First, when the engine is running, some oil gets caught in the drive gear teeth of the engine. Second, when driving around with no car sitting for awhile, some oil gets caught indrive gear teeth as well.
Piston ring failure
When your car is young, it can be affected by a faulty piston ring. The ring sits between the cylinder and piston and prevents oil from escaping during operation.
As cars age, the rings lose their sealing power and allow a small amount of oil to escape. This is not a harmful condition as the rings do not contain oil, but older rings may not always seal correctly.
To prevent this problem from happening again, have your car religiously inspected by a qualified mechanic every few years. There may be a cost involved, however!

Lack of oil
If your car is showing signs of lack of oil, you should do some troubleshooting. The first thing to do is to make sure that you have enough oil in your car.
When driving, it is usually necessary to put a bit of oil into the engine every time to ensure that it uses up some gas. You can do this by putting a small amount in the crankcase opening and then closing the crankcase door.
You can also check your oil with a camera nutdriver. Make sure that the hole is big enough for the camera nutto fit through. If so, your problem may be with your engine mountings or mounts, not with your car itself.
The last thing to check is whether or not you have enough oil in my car. If so, then your problem may be with my engine bind and/or lease aggravation (ABRA).
Engine cranks but does not start
Sometimes when you park your car, the oil in your engine may drop due to blockage. This can be minor spots, or a large area that is not protected by a cap.
The oil may not flow into the cylinders due to blockage. This is generally not a problem unless you park your car overnight!
If this happens, check your oil level first to see if it’s low. If so, add some more to make sure it gets replaced quickly.
Other problems can include weak points in your seals and/or gaskets that could allow water to enter your engine.
Oil leak diagnosis guide
There are a couple of main ways to diagnosis a oil leak. The most common way is to use a car oil analyzer. These devices use machine logic to diagnose leaks. Using this tool is cost- effective and easy to do.
The second way to diagnose a oil leak is using an oil analyzer without a screen. This is the normal way that an oil analyzer is used. Using this method, the user must make sure the wrong end of the needle is in the sample before they can rule out any underlying problems with the engine.
It can be difficult to tell if an analyzer has been used or not as well as it can sometimes need re- application for a good reading. Plus, some people may have difficulty re- applying the same test after being away from their car for some time.
An easy way to read an oil analyzer is by doing what they say on them- hold their thumb against the wrong end and pull out slightly when presented with a sample.
What are the potential causes of an oil leak?
Car oil is an easy candidate for a non-reactive substance. Most cars now come with an oil level warning feature, which alerts you if there is not enough oil in the car to adequately lubricate the engine.
Is it a big leak?
If you notice that your car is looking a little oilier or that it is dripping some oil, then it is probably due to an oil change.
An oil change can up to double the amount of olive oil in your car’s tank. During the change, the dealership removes all the old oils and puts in new ones for your car to use. This helps ensure you have enough olive oil in your car for a long lasting update.
This is also helpful if you drive around with only one vehicle as having two cars would require new oils every year or two. The dealership can not keep up with this unless they have this fixed.
