Home fires is a drama series that follows the lives of five people who are struggling with addiction, poverty, and other issues. The series stars Tichina Arnold as Cookie, an addict living in a run-down motel with her daughter and husband; David Leon Weinstein as Cookie’s husband Trey, an addict who struggles to maintain his sobriety; Jazmyn Woods as Trey’s best friend Janelle; and Malik Bendel as Janelle’s boyfriend Ty.
The series premiered on June 10, 2018, and continues to follow the lives of these characters over the course of a year. Each season follows a different set of events for these characters as they struggle through life.

What happened in season 2
After a year away, the families returned to their lawns and played in the summer heat. It was fun to see how each family adjusted their game plan this summer to defend their territory and soak up some sun.
As before, there were several interesting occurrences that changed the landscape of the game. George and Alice became lovers, Alice became pregnant, and Alice left with her baby at birth.
This time, however, George did not give birth at home but at a hospital in town where he was treated for loss of consciousness. When he recovered enough to return home, he found his wife had beautiful twin babies!
Because of this occurrence causing such a shift in power, it is important to have new players who can play as well as old ones who can still defend their territory from new arrivals.
