Carbon has a relatively low ratio of atoms in a molecule compared to other elements. This makes carbon very stable, and hard to remove from everything. This makes it an important element in the world.
The whole concept of oxygen is that it can be removed from water, and added to other molecules. Without oxygen, there would be no life- support system for plants and animals.
Oxygen is found in the air we breathe, but we cannot produce it on our own. It’s also found in plants and animals, but not exactly in their cells. That is because it has to moved around by animals and plants when they require it.

Ratio of carbon to hydrogen
The amount of carbon to hydrogen in natural gas is called the carbon to hydrogen to gas ratio. Theoretically, this can be changed to give any amount of oxygen!
In fact, this is possible with the current generation of technology. A small fraction of hydrocarbons are able to contain a large amount of oxygen, and thus, generate an oxidant for reaction. This allows for photosynthesis, which produces food for plants and animals.
However, there are certain hydrocarbons that do not have enough oxygen within them to act as an oxidant. These include those within drank fuels such as gasoline or diesel. Fortunately, more recent technologies have found ways to add enough oxygen into these fuels!
It is important to note that this does not make it bad fuel- it just makes it hard to find in stores or on demand.
Ratio of carbon to oxygen
The proportion of carbon to oxygen is called the carbon-oxygen concentration ratio. The higher the carbon-oxygen concentration ratio, the higher the cost of producing any kind of energy, including hydrocarbon energy.
The higher the proportion of carbon to oxygen, the lower the price of electricity and fuel. This is why some studies show that increasing green energy use and decreasing oil use will decrease electricity demand and oil usage.
When total hydroxide gas levels are low, they can be sustained with water or another solvent to create a slurry that can be pumped out. When there is a high gas level, water may need to be added to maintain a stable state or solubility.
Ratio of hydrogen to oxygen
The amount of hydrogen that is used in fuel production is called the proportion of hydrogen in fuel. Currently, most gasoline and diesel is made with a proportion of oxygen in its fuel. This is correct because oxygen is a basic (undead) chemical compound.
The proportion of hydrogen in fuel currently varies based on manufacturer, but the majority is actually oxygen. As an aside, this percentage may also vary between brands, as some companies use more or less hydrogen than the standard ratio.
Many people know that water has Hydrogen in it, but few think about how much energy it contains. The more-hydrogen water has higher energy content than plain water.
The nature of an atom

An atom has a single layer of up-and-down-tapping electrons. Each of these electrons has a location called an orbit that its surrounded by other atoms.
The number of orbits an atom has is called its number ofpi (pi is the symbol for infinity). Because pi is a numeric value, there are two ways to find the ratio of carbon to hydrogen in water: by weight or by mass.
We will use mass because that is more common for measuring water ratios. We will talk more about how to use weight in a future article, though.

You can see this when you look at paper cards with names and numbers printed on them. When you touch one of them, the names and numbers violently explode into life. That is because they are packed with carbon and hydrogen, but the charge has caused them to become charged. You could connect a wire to them and watch them fight against the force of gravity to move.
What does this mean?
At this point, you might be wondering what the heck a carpet has to do with green energy. Well, it does not mean that carpet has any effect on green energy, but it does have an effect on our air quality.
As we mentioned earlier, carpet has a big impact on air quality. When we are not tracking our carpets, they can start to look brown and loose. This is preventable with good rug shampooing or rug care products.
When we have meetings in places with poor air quality control, we switch off the rooms where the carpet is located to help reduce the impact of that smell. The same goes for office smells as people are responsible for keeping those in control.
Does this matter?
The amount of carbon to hydrogen to oxygen in any fuel is called the carbon-to-mass-parity ratio or CRaM. In harmony with the mass, there is a ratio of oxygen to hydrogen. The greater the proportion of oxygen in the fuel, the higher the ratio.
The greater the proportion of methane in gas turbines, the lower the CRaM. Gas turbines require more carbon, which is why they are an important part of high tech grid systems.
Many renewable energy sources such as wind and hydro power have a low CRaM so that they do not burn down too quickly.
