A toy car is one of the most versatile and affordable toys for toddlers. They can be built out, modified, and put away for a night or two!
Modification is great for building your child’s sense of creativity and difficulty. By making things more complicated as they grow, they learn how to use their minds and hands in order to create this.

A train set is a great way to engage in fun with your baby. There are many sets available, so whether your baby is still in the infant or toddler stage, you can still play.
These sets usually have tracks that baby can walk on and can put together. Therefore, if your baby is one-sized-fits-all, they can enjoy playing with this set.
The tracks typically do not age well, so if yours does, get a new one! They also typically require some sort of parent assistance to put together and take down, which really cute.
Baby will often try to move things around or stack them up with something else of the same size so get some help from an adult to help you with this! These kinds of toys are great for building skills such as concentration and cooperation.
Books
A child who is just beginning to learn letters and words would be perfect for a book. A book has many different parts: the cover, the paper inside, and the pages.
The length of the book depends on how long the child is able to read. Some children can read for quite awhile without any help. This is a child’s game!
A short book would be good for a little one to taste of reading. A chapter book would be good for older children since you need more text in order to understand it. A novel would be best if it was short enough to fit in a little while children were playing.
Children who are unable to walk or sit still are good candidates for playthings that are easy to set up and take down.
Stuffed animal
A stuffed animal is one of the best toys for toddlers. They can tuck away and love them for hours on end if they are a good stuffed animal.
They are not the most interactive toys, but a stuffed animal can feel like a friend throughout the years. They can relive childhood memories with something that is stuffed and carries a weight!
Similiar to the child is to an object, so much importance was placed upon it when they were little that they remember how it felt and what it was like.
With some toys being more appropriate for children than others, such as those that carry sharp edges or ones with potential danger, these need to be looked into before they are too big to have in their homes.
The size of the toy should also be taken into account. Some small plush animals may not be suitable for children who are still growing.
Art set
A art set is a great way to get your little hands on some fun art concepts. Most of these sets have you create your own pieces to build and explore different lines of creation.
These sets are great for introducing children to the concept of drawing, designing, and creating with materials. They can also learn how to construct their creations which is an extension of how they learn other things.
Of the various art concepts that children can master, engineering remains one of the more difficult. Children who are good at drawing may be able to construct something more quickly than someone who is not so skilled.
By playing with the various tools in the set and having my child experiment with them, they discover what works for them and how to use them effectively. Playing with the set also teaches some basic accounting as some tools cost more than others can be worth their value in creation.
Shape sorter
A toy that almost everyone mentions as the best for little kids is shape sorter. This toy lets them build their spatial awareness and intelligence at the same time.
By putting things in different positions and sizes, they learn that different things can be bigger or smaller. By building their intelligence, they learn other concepts such as organization and concept review.
This toy also helps develop fine motor skills as children use the pieces to assemble and solve problems such as puzzle solving or sliding doors.
Shape sorter toys come in a range of shapes and sizes so it is not an absolute must have for everyone. They do vary in cost so if you are not a fan of one type do not buy one of these!
Suggested Action: Make sure your child discovers how to use their fingers, toes, arms, and legs to get around with this activity to help developmentally.
Push car
The push car is one of the most ubiquitous toys for children. Made of hard plastic or rubber, these vehicles bring back many childhood memories of racing around the yard or neighborhood in hopes of snagging the top spot.
These cars were usually mounted on a long, slender frame that made them easy to control. You could also make them run or stop, making them very fun to play with.
These toys were often sold as “dress-up” toys, which was how they came most commonly into existence. You could put them in a case and let someone else handle them, or you could make yourself available by letting your child have a turn to play with you.
Both styles of push cars are ideal for young children, as they are easy to use and control and do not require any special equipment.
