For now, you can transfer money to and from your phone using Google’s Wallet. This service works, but it is not currently supported on Styled Luxe.

If you have a Samsung device, you can only use Samsung’s app to transfer data to and from your phone. For example, Samsung’s Gear VR does not support mobile phones with an NFC chip.
Additionally, certain apps do not work well on a smartphone that has an NFC chip. For example, trying to use Google’s Now on Tap app on my LG stylo met a quick and unexpected end at the door of my phone due to cheating of the app’s NFC tag by my LG stylo.

What are the differences between NFS versions 1, 2, and 3?
NFS versions 1 and 2 were identical to the surface of a phone, with only the content of the app was different.
NFS version 3 introduced a contact list for mobile devices, as well as desktop computers. This was a major addition as previously, only smartphones had this feature.
By having a list of contacts on a device, you can send and receive contact messages via NFC. In order for a message to be received by the recipient, they must be holding their phone against their chest in order for it to connect.
While this feature is not relevant unless you have an enemy who has your phone number, having this list of devices allows for easier syncing between devices using NFC.
Should I get a smartphone with an NFC chip?
