The United Services Automobile Association (USAA) scholarship program is one of the largest and most respected automotive insurance company scholarship programs in the country.

Eligible students
You can be eligible for the United Services Automobile Association Scholarship if you are:
A member of an automotive club that meets at least once a month to discuss automotive trends and topics;
A current member of an automobile club who belongs to at least one driving program;

Interested in attending a shop vocational program such as auto mechanics, tech, or auto electronics.

You can only claim the United Services Scholarship if you are 18 years or older by January 1 of year of enrollment.
U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
You may not use your name and photo on any legal document or product that uses your name or image. Only products bearing your official mark or brand name may be used.
If you are a citizen or eligible non-citizen, you can apply for an automobile association scholarship. The most common automobile association scholarships are for undergraduate students, who have been involved in some capacity in school or community programs for at least two years.
Scholarships cost between $125 and $250, and can be given to either full-time students or part-time students. Partially-financed students may apply, however!
To be considered full-time, applicants must spend at least 30 hours per week on schoolwork and program participation. To be considered part-time, they must spend at least 15 hours per week on schoolwork and program participation.

Once you are admitted to a accredited high school or vocational school, the hard work starts. You need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be done on your school’s website or through your school’s financial aid department.
