Both of these substances are very fine and dry. Both can be purchased either as a powder or as a granule.
If using the powder, you must be sure to dust your rabbit bedding with it before using. The sand or soil must be mixed and then dumped into your rabbit’s pen or home.
Rabbit beds are not designed to be stood on end in water, so if your bed is not fully covered, it may suffer water damage. If this happens, you have two options: put another bed in place or just add more sand or soil.
The second option is to add more land for my rabbit to settle in on! Using enough land for my needs is also about how much you want to expand on however.

Rabbit bedding is also possible in which you use paper toweltracks. These can be found at most supermarkets or stores that carry supplies for bedrooms.
To create the look of a rabbit sleeping area, you track your rabbit inside the paper toweltracks and then add soft fluffy blankets and towels to situate them.
One method is to use two-chested white paper towels. You can put one regular white blanket on top of the other to create a soft, warm nest. You could use colored or plain white sheets to cover up the mess that your rabbit creates in the process of sleeping.
Another way to set up the room is using two sets of identical white curtains with one set closed and another open so that you have a contrasting color for your bedding.
Using washable pads or sheets
If you are having a lot of pooping and peeing, it is recommended that you use cloth pads or sheets.
Because rabbit urine is washable, using a diaper baggie or toilet paper is an option to keep. If you do not have these items, then using washed diapers and/or mapped out toiletries is an option.
Using washed sheets and towels can help clean more easily your bunny’s surroundings. If you want to be more scientific, this might be considered “hygiene fashionable” hygiene!
By keeping some switched-out bedding, it helps save money in the long run. Having no bedding means having to buy new supplies for the week of rabbit care.
Using waterproof pads or sheets
If you are not interested in using bedding that is machine washable, there are several ways to keep the bedding fresh. One way is to use towels or sheets that are wet or dry before use. The two would then stay separate and fresh!
Another way is to put away each piece of sheet and towels in a plastic bag to air out before using. Or, if using wet towels, put those away as well to keep them fresh.
Then, if you want to wash the bedding, you can! If you did not want to use these options and sleep on the sofa for the night, looking into buying some new sleeping bags may help keep the cost down.
What should I avoid using?
If you are looking into using fleece, wool, or polyester toys, make sure they are durable. Your child will most likely be outside a lot!
Rabbit sleeping styles are diverse, so be prepared to help him get out of his bed at any time. Some kids prefer to sleep on the floor or in your toy’s play area.
If you choose to use a foam or synthetic pillow, make sure it is sturdy. The thickness of these types of pillows may limit how much your child can get out. A down pillow may help prevent a person from matting against the heat source.
Remember that children grow faster than you do. If your child is already growing too quickly, do not buy any more size clothing to fit them.
