The largest city in the state of Seattle, Moving to Seattle From Florida is the place to be for visitors and residents, alike. With over six million people living within a five mile radius of downtown, it is an enormous community that supports social and economic life across the region.
With a population that grows at a steady rate, this city moves fast. That is why there are so many jobs! With an average work week of 28 hours and professional development groups constantly flowing into the city, there is always something to do.
The cosmopolitan nature of Seattle makes it a great place to live. Being surrounded by nature constants, quality of life issues are addressed immediately. There are also very strong social Issues that are addressed which can make it a good fit for people with sensitive egos.
There are very strict rules in this city that keep everyone on their toes but also make them feel like home.

Rain? What rain?
For me, moving was a lot about finding a place where I felt safe, where I could make the most of my free time, and where I could make the most of my friends and community.
For people moving for the first time, it’s especially important to find a place where you feel comfortable and are surrounded by good people. Looking around your current environment is part of this process.
For example, being forced to live in an unfamiliar neighborhood can serve as a form of early socialization. Plus, you can look forward to visiting local bars and clubs because of how convenient they’ll be to your new location.
Maintaining contact with old friends and colleagues is also important as you move up in life, since it can be difficult to understand what level of friendship you had before.
By learning how much money these people are willing to make, you can determine whether or not they’re a good fit for your lifestyle.
Culture!
What Culture!
If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and challenging career, you should consider a career in entertainment. Working in the industry is competitive, so you will have to make your appeal to quality.
The pay may not be the highest in the industry, and there is a risk of burnout. But if you are dedicated, you can make a good living off of this.
There are many ways to get into the entertainment industry. You can look on broadcast stations and/or Internet channels that feature media production as entryways. You can also produce for yourself or with some help from a production company.
If you are interested in becoming an actor, try doing some amateur plays before going professional to see if they get your skills out in front of an audience. Or if you are interested in video production or marketing, become more involved with social media to put yourself out there.
Mountains!
The beach is far away, and most importantly, safe! There are beautiful beaches all over the Seattle area, and there are plenty of opportunities for you to get out.
Moving can be a little stressful at times, so we would recommend being comfortable and familiar with your surroundings before you get too excited. The downtown area has a nice feeling to it, with many places to visit and enjoy.
The people are very friendly, which is great! We have never had any problems moving around alone, in either Florida or Seattle.
There are many different cuisines you can eat in both cities, so you do not have to go back to the same food! You can also find restaurants that cater to different preferences.

When we came up with the idea for We Are To Power, we were immediately attracted to the idea of moving to a new city, becoming an online community and lifestyle, where people support and encourage each other.
We loved that there was already a We Are To Power community around the internet, where people support and encourage each other. It made us feel good to see other people feeling excited about this project and what it means to them.
I know many peoplefeel inspired by We Are To Power. It feels like you are moving into a supportive community that is building a better world for yourself and the people you care about.
We Are To Power is not just going to be located in Seattle, our headquarters will always be on the east coast! This is an opportunity for us to come back and visit everyone in Seattle, especially since this project is so special to us.
Lakes!
There are thousands of lakes and rivers all over the country, and Florida is not the only warm-weather destination. The Pacific Northwest is another popular destination, handily located between Seattle and Portland.
Known for its beautiful waterfalls, quaint neighborhoods, and urban feel, Seattle is a pretty city to visit. It also has a reputation as a tech center, but that is not true for every neighborhood.
Some neighborhoods are more famous than others, like Gas Works Park and Pike Place Market, but all of them have a nice flavor of modernity. One attraction that everyone can agree on is Space Needle!
Luckily, moving to Seattle does not take too long as the airport is only 30 minutes away from the city center.
Coffee!
Having a cup of coffee in the morning is a comfort thing in downtown Seattle. There are several places to find in the Pike Place Market and at Starbucks throughout the city.
Unlike many cities, Starbucks has afeatured location in every neighborhood. This allows for easy access to a quality coffee experience. Overall, Seattle has some of the best coffee you will ever taste.
The Pike Place Market also has a number of specialty coffee shops that provide an intimate atmosphere to enjoy your caffeine fix. These places often have creative drinks and speciality coffees designed for Downton Abbey fans!
As we mentioned earlier, Pike Place Market is located on 5th Avenue and Yesler Way, which are two major roads that run perpendicular to each other.
Vegan food!
While Florida has many vegan restaurants, most are not close by and are geared towards meat lovers. There aren’t many options for vegans that are incorporated with vegetables!
There are a few, but not many that offer deliveries, so it has to be tried in person. The ones I found were disappointing because they did not meet my expectations.
Some didn’t even have any vegan options or were forced to have beef or chicken! I would have much preferred if there was a choice between vegetable or no food at all!
This is a big missing factor for vegans, so it is important to know where and how to find food that is compassionate and good for you.
Shopping!
Selling yourself is the best way to shop! Location is key when shopping, as the farther you have to go in your city, the more expensive the products you will find.
I know it may be difficult to navigate the shopping scene in Seattle without a car, but it is definitely possible. There are many great shopping districts throughout town and several major ones including Columbia City, Rainse Shipyard, and Interbay.
Local stores are a good bet as they know what products you want and need. They may not have the widest selection of products, but they know what customers want so they’ll always meet someone‘s needs.
