Maintain your extensions by having a professional clean them every 2-3 weeks
When washing your extensions, make sure you remove all of the product from the top of the extension.
This includes detangle smoothers, waxes, and products that contain hairsprays or hairspray products. These must be removed to prevent your extensions from getting damaged or stuck.
Waxes and putters can be gently pulled apart with small scissors to allow for washing. If you have some stronger chemicals such as waxing oil or shampoo, then those may need to be removed before the extension can be washed.
