Clean the brush with soap

Clean the brush with alcohol

Washing the brush in clear water and leaving the bottom side up to dry will ensure that all traces of water are removed. By doing this properly, you will avoid waste and potential problems such as water logging or wetting of the paint.
Replace the bristles
If your die-cast car, superhero, or other piece of memorabilia has been left in the middle of mud, snow, or other weather-related conditions for a long period of time, you can prevent hair from getting stuck in the brush.
To prevent hair from getting stuck in the brush, you can either use a loofah or buffing pad to spread out the polish and remove any dried hairs that may have clung to the brush.
Alternatively, you can use warm water and a household bleach solution to clean the brush. Make sure to leave it over night to ensure it works.
Dry thoroughly
Once the polish is clean, thoroughly dry your brush. This includes avoiding areas where polish may be trapped or blocked by the bristles. If some polish gets on the brush, take time to rinse and remove it.
Store horizontally
When cleaning your shoe polish brush, let it stand for a few minutes after each application. This helps the polish dry as well as keeps it from getting clogged up.
Also, be careful when working with a horizontally stored brush. The bottom section may fall out due to lack of pressure. This can cause some serious mess!
To keep a brush healthy, buy from trusted brands such as Dial, Aveeno, or Vicks. To find good sellers on Amazon, look for sellers with 5-6 reviews and a $10 – $20 price tag. Let them know what brand you use and they will probably send you one!
Finally, keep the brush protected by storing it in a container or by using the same brush for multiple applications.
Store vertically
To keep your brush company, its bristles must be protected. When not in use, sweep or polish the top of the brush to prevent dirt and debris from getting into the internal workings.
Invert the brush several times to remove all accumulated polish. Then, place a piece of masking tape over one end and sweep down and across the top of the brush to remove any remaining polish.
To keep your brush fresh, do not store it with other brushes with exposed metal components such as an included spring or hollow-featured brushes. These may lose their softness and some shape over time.
Instead, store eachbrush separately via a handle or between covers on a shelf.
Do not keep using the same polish bottle
When you are done using the brush, make sure to store it properly. After each use, brush your shoe to remove any polishdust.
It is also important to wrap the bristles of the brush in a towel to prevent dryness and breakage. You can do this by placing the brush with its end facing away from you and wrapping a towel around the end of the brush.
Then, place a small amount of weak tea or sugar on one side of the tea and place the other side down with no tea on it. Place a dish cloth or old towel around all of this to avoid absorbtion of any liquids and keep water from evaporating off of the brush.
Finally, let it sit for at least an hour before using again so that it gets used up and all of the polish gets washed off.
Wash the polish bottle thoroughly
When you open the polish brush, it should be exposed to a clean, dry environment. You can buy special brush cleaners or safe cleansers for polish brushes.
Some people recommend using a mild soap and water solution to clean the brush, but I do not find that necessary. If you do, let it completely dry before using the brush.
Cleaning the brush will prevent hair from getting into the bottle and spoiling your polishing action. Reusing the same empty polish brush will lead to more space in your bottle to hold water and polish, which increases the chances of getting a good quality finish on your nail.
When filling the nail with polish, some of it must be displaced so the new polish can flow out.
