What is the difference between coolant and freon
Both coolant and freon are used in home air conditioners. However, coolant differs from freon

However, new chemical compounds can not be guaranteed to work as well as old standard-mode refrigerants. As a result, it is very rare to find newly manufactured double-mode chemicals on today’s market.

How can I tell if I need to replace my freon?
One way to tell if your freon has needed replacing is by how it performs. When the machine cools down, it should raise and hold a calm attitude for a short time before returning back to its normal state.
This attitude is called a “recoil” and when it does this, it can be an indicator that the freon needs to be replaced. A good way to test this is by opening a window some distance and seeing if the temperature drops. If so, then you have succeeded in having your re-cooling accomplished!
Another sign of needing new re-coils is when the previous ones are still in use.
