A feature that makes a Ram device different from a non-Ram device is its ability to resolve network addresses. This feature allows the device to recognize networks that use their IP address for addressing.
If your home network is made up of people with varying degrees of expertise in computers, each person has a name and designation for his or her own computer. So, if someone needs help with a computer, they’ll ask someone else who has more experience with the product.
With a non-Domain name router such as an Active/Passive model, you have to make sure that you are using the correct IP address for your router. If you do not have one, then your Ram device can not connect to other networks!

Coding techniques
There are many ways to code your devices. Some ways are specific to the platforms you use, some are not. Luckily for you, we will be discussing the coding techniques we see most often on tech support calls!
As mentioned earlier, there are two main ways to code your device. The first is referred to as physical coding and the second is referred an application coding.
Physical coding involves using regular equipment such as a cable or wire to connect your device to another device. The other way to code devices is with software. Many companies offer software classes that you can purchase that teach you how to code your device.
Configuration file
A configuration file is a text file that contains instructions for your device. There are multiple configuration files for devices, so you will not see a list of all of them in the command line. Instead, there is a /var/config/ directory for each one.
The configuration files contain information about device options and how to connect to them. For example, the cmndconfig file on your router has connection options for computers, phones, and wireless networks.
Some configurations can be overrode, which means they are not included in the configuration file. This can be useful if you do not want to add an option but someone else does! Overridden settings are usually excluded from documentation and help documents, which is why they are named excluded characteristics!
When searching for devices, make sure you know which ones have a configured network or connection type.
Save command
The last command you need to learn is the save command. The save command saves your configuration on the device so that you can come back to it later. This is useful if you have to change something and do not have your device nearby!
You use the save command on a Cisco device with a6n0x0 or pico6n type of firmware. The firmware version must be 4 or higher, available through the factory settings, or by running savedconfig on the device.

Reboot command
When your router is compromised, it can be hard to determine if a firmware update or patch will help secure your router. Fortunately, there are some ways to reboot a device without updating the firmware.
Reboot is the second characteristic of the device shown in bullet point. In most cases, you can use a command such as raspphaser rebooting raspircenetwork followed by the power button to reboot a device.
The third characteristic is change-password-after-activityocadoquece. This is used when you need to change your password on your router but don’t want to update the firmware first. You can use this feature only after you have changed your password because after that time has passed, the new password won’t automatically apply!
Using these characteristics, determine if your router has a reset button or power off feature.
Terminal multiplexing
Terminal multiplexing is a feature that allows an Android or iOS app to control and manage several devices simultaneously. This feature is not available on all device platforms, however.
With this feature, you can create a home screen for your device that you can manage from your phone. Once you do this, you can then grant access to the apps you want to your phone through the software.
The apps will appear as if they are connected to multiple devices at once, as long as they are physically connected. You can also wirelessly sync data between the devices, which is helpful when running out of data on one device.
This feature is very useful for staying in touch while using your mobile device, tablet, and/or keyboard and mouse in one sitting.
History command
The history command allows you to see a list of commands that have been entered into your device. The history command is very useful when you need to go back and review what you had entered into your device.
When you enter a new command, the device will ask if you want to add it to the list. You can then go back and re-use this information as the device has a limited number of commands.
The network will not work if there are too many commands on the device. There must be a limit on how many can be entered into the device, how many can be recalled and how many can be printed out.
Aliases
Ram is a feature that allows Cisco devices to run multiple operating systems on the same hard disk. By default, only Android and Windows are enabled, but you can change this anytime through the administration panel.
