The class was created as a way to inspire and motivate its members to work out. To start the class, members must pay an audition fee of $60, which is used to fund the creation of the class and promote it. Once they are accepted into the group, they can join at any time as long as they pay the annual fee of $130.

This class is for everyone, no exceptions! From those who are looking to start a workout habit or those who are already in shape looking for an edge, this class has you covered.

There are two Santa Monica Fit Body Boot Camps: The Grapeseed, located at 697 N Grapeseed Rd, and The Ballpark, located at 111 S Century Fwy. Both are open-air and feature a variety of cardio and strength exercises.

The Ballpark is more open space than the Grapeseed, which makes it a little more difficult to find. It is tucked behind the Rite A34 Super Target and next to Starbucks!

Grapeseed has limited space available, so if you can’t make it to the Ballpark on a weekday, you can still head to the Grapeseed as there is no class on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Both fitness classes have a strict schedule that must be followed, as well as specific exercises that be done.

Costs

The Santa Monica Fit Body Boot Camp cost $15 for the introductory class. After that, there was a cost of $20 for the additional class sessions which included a second rep along with a tutorial on how to do it yourself.

The additional sessions were helpful as we could go into more of a self-taught mode, or you could ask your instructor for help. She would be able to tell you what kind of gear to buy and how to use it!

This was nice as we could get our boot camp in at our own pace, so if you were feeling out of shape, you can take your time in getting back into shape. You can do this on your own or with the help of a friend!
