The Samsung Gear 360 is a high-tech, wireless computer that can be used on your phone. It allows you to monitor and work with your most important things-your health, fitness, and work!
The device features a rotating camera that allows you to look at anything from up top or downside. This allows you to track activities such as working out or studying while also being connected to the phone via the Gear app.
The app can be used for numerous things such as tracking workouts, studying by creating goals such as getting X Y Z in an exam, or working as a bedside computer monitor.
This device is not for the fainest of heartbroken.

Update your phone’s software
After you download the app, you will need to open it on your phone. Once open, you can follow the prompts to set up the camera and smartphone app.
When set up, the Samsung Gear 360 will automatically connect to your phone via Near Field Communication (NFC). This means you can touch your device to the Samsung Gear 360 and send or receive data via this method.
To use the camera, you will first have to download and install the Samsung Gear 360 App on your phone. Once that is done, you can follow the quick instructions in the app for setting up the camera.
Try using it in a room with a single light coming from over head of a desk; no windows or other lighting sources nearby to diffuse any light coming from outside.
Connect your phone to the Gear 360
Once you do, you can view and download content such as 360-degree video, use your phone as a calculator, listen to music while the Gear 360 onto your wrist, or even use the Gear 360 onto a monitor to work on projects.
There are currently no plans to integrate the Gear 360 with an app store like Apple or Android, however.
As of now, you must use the Gear 360 itself to access content. However, Samsung is working on a companion device that will allow for apps and content to be inserted into the unit. This device will be connected via Bluetooth or cable when complete.
Work With Iphone 7 has announced their support for the Gear 360 earlier this year at CES 2018.
Select a recording mode
When filming or recording an event, it is important to know the recording mode of your gear. In order to change the recording mode, you must first activate the Mode button on your phone.
There are two modes for the Gear 360: Record and Playback. Record refers to when filming or recording an event and Playback refers to when viewing an event after it has been recorded.
Both Recording and Playback use a standard Micro-USB cord. If you have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you do not need to purchase the separate USB cord; simply slide in the correct button on your phone and done. If you have a Samsung Note device, you must purchase the USB cord that is specific to that device; simply connect it to the device using the correct port.
Take a picture or video with the Gear 360
The 360 camera has a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens. When you press the button on the 360 camera, it will activate the wide angle and telephoto lenses. You can then take pictures or video by simply pressing the button on the 360 camera and letting it hang.
The Gear 360 comes with a mount that can be mounted to a wall, A rack system that can be connected to another object, or even A bracket that can be attached to someone or something.
When used with a suitable subject, such as yourself or an object, the Gear 360 will capture an image and video which are very detailed and precise. The wide angle and telephoto lenses help capture more area of interest in regards to pictures and videos.
However, there are some limitations to using the Gear360 for taking pictures and videos. These include: low resolution (1280 x 960), limited dynamic range (darker areas look more grayed out than white), and no stabilization feature.
Transfer files from the Gear 360 to your phone
The number one reason why people download apps and videos on their phones but not on the Gear 360 is because of the ability to transfer files from the device to the phone.
Many file managers have features that allow you to link your phone account to a file manager account, which makes it easy to transfer files between your phone and the Gear 360.

Download the Facebook app and upload pictures and videos from your phone to Facebook by clicking on them in the feed
This allows you to see your pictures and videos on your phone as well as on Facebook. You can also put them on your Facebook timeline to share with the world!
By linking your phone to the 360, you can view photos and videos in full 3-D mode. Try it out!
And when you are done working, turn it off and store it in the app or put it in an album so you can easily find it.
Assembling the 360 is just like connecting a smartphone or computer to a device. You will need to use a clear case to do this though!
By pressing the button on the back of the 360, you can rotate it 180 degrees so you can point down at something.
Share pictures and videos directly from your phone to other social media sites by uploading them directly from your phone to these sites
Now, this is not exactly app enabled, but you can do it by using the Samsung Gear 360. Once you do that, you can send pictures and videos directly to your phone via an app.
This is great for sharing pictures of your kids while they are doing something fun or just to keep them entertained. You can even put a message or a song as the message so they know what happened.
