You can do this by leaving your door unopened for about a week, or by using a hairdryer or heat source on your drying process. Either way, make sure you remember to re-seal the gap after the initial drying process has taken place.
Re-sealing the gap will ensure that your new seal does not break and allows for fresh glue to set properly. If you leave it open, there is potential for condensation to form and fall off of your new seal.
Put the sealant over the cracks
Once you have applied the sealant to your door, you must let it dry before you can open it! This ensures that the sealant is covering all of the cracks and gaps around your door.
You may then try to open the door for a few hours to make sure the sealant holds, however, this must be done very slowly or you could risk breaking your seal.
Sealed doors cannot be moved unless they are dry! Once this has been done, try opening the door to see if it opens easily. If not, take it into a local window shop and they can hopefully fix it for you.
Brush away loose material
