Grind orange flowers

Adisolve or liquid detergent powder does not create the same consistency as grinded sugar and water. If you want a very fine or thick dye, use more powder than if you wanted a less dyed colour.
Use half cup powdered sugar to one cup liquid detergent powder to achieve a fine colour like sand or flour. Use one cup of powdered sugar per one cup of liquid detergent powder to achieve a thicker colour like coffee grounds or chocolate syrup.
Mix together ground flowers and boiling water
When the water is boiling, remove from heat and steep for a few minutes to thoroughly infuse the flowers into the dye. Now, mix together equal amounts of water and flowers to create your dye.
Put in your dyes and let sit for at least an hour to maximize color depth. You can do up to four quarts of dye in one machine, but make sure to have enough washcloths or towels to cover the entire amount.
Put in some soft soap as a base to help prevent skin irritation and/or cleanliness of the machine after making the liquid dyes.
Let sit and cool
