However, if your child does not have the ability to produce lactic acid, then they may not be able to drink their milk as it may contain too much sugar and may cause irritations or outright dehydration.

By using these alternate sources of nutrition, your child can still have a healthy milk intake and meet their needs.
Mix with regular milk powder
A slightly unusual way to make lactose free milk is to use mixed with regular milk powder. Instead of using lactase powder to break down the milk sugar, you can use mixed with regular milk powder.
This allows you to choose which parts of the cow’s milk you want to use for your drink. The rest goes into your food or compost!
To make this work, you must first know the brand of milk you are using. Some brands have more glucose than others. After that, you must mix them together and then let them sit until the butter has melted and joined with the water.
Mix with condensed milk

When making your own lactose free milk, you will need to buy some sort of milk replacement. Most popular brands of lactose free milk are made by Nestle or Philip’s Dairy Free Milk.
You can look into buying either the mixed casein or non-casein varieties of dairy milks. Both have their benefits and are equally easy to make. Either can be mixed with fresh or frozen fruit, especially bananas!
To add some flavor, add some flavoring drops or dry ingredients such as cinnamon or coconut sugar. Just do not overdo it- too much flavor can cause tongue burnness, thicken the drink too much and become difficult to digest.

Almond milk is one of the few milk alternatives that does not contain lactose. As the name implies, almond milk contains almonds, but it also contains some milk as a source.
Almonds contain a few different things that aid in the process of making milk. The nut meat is a source of protein, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and DGL (dgl casein). CLA and DGL may help with accepting almond milk as a drink and/or taste.
DGL may help with keeping the pieces of toast together while drinking it. If dgl helps with this task, then it may help keep the pieces of toast together in your stomach so that you can feel satisfied and escape the spoon-and-taste requirement.
Lauren Santini, author of The Tenderiser: A Diet & Fitness Guide for Baby Boomers, says that when she asked her parents about making their own dairy products in her generation, they said to use either coconut or goat milks because they were more noticeable flavors than almond or vanilla.
Use coconut milk
Coconut milk is one of the few foods that contain lactic acid. Lactose can be found in dairy products, like yogurt, so it is not a huge leap to use coconut milk to make your yogurt less sweet.
To make coconut milk at home, you must first determine the type of milk you want to make. There are four main types of milk: cow’s, almond, vanilla, and soy. Each has its own smell and taste.
Almond milks are the easiest to make. They containcasein, which makes them creamier than other types of milks. If you do not like the taste of coconut, then use nepal pepper instead. These two changes can be done in advance by buying them online or in store ahead of time.
Use soy milk
If you cannot find soy milk that is lactose free, you can make your own. There are many ways to make soy milk. You can use one type of Soy milk for the whole day, or you can mix it with other drinks. You can also make your own soy milks which has no step of salt and sugar to add into it.
The best way to make your own soy milk is to start with two cups of water and one cup of plain dry rice/plain white flour. Then, we need to simmer this for about fifteen minutes or so until the water is soaked up all the liquid from the rice and/or dried flour.
