The main difference is that the new server does not follow the same rules and regulations as the original server. This can be very interesting to look at, as there are usually some loopholes and creative ways to make modifications to servers.
Modification servers are very popular due to their unique experience. You can go on your own journey and not feel like you are being force-fed something else, which is so cool.

Create a directory for your server
When you have created your server, it is time to set up your server. You can do this remotely or physically, it does not matter!
Set up your server for internet access by creating a port forwarder and connecting your computer to the internet through that. If you do this online, go to My Port Forwarding and create a new account. Then go to Your Computer and connect!
Physical setting up of the server is important as well. Create a network interface or adapter on your computer so that when your servers are connected, they can communicate with the network. Networking means both computers must be plugged in and set up correctly- make sure it is connected to the right internet service provider, etc.
Download the miscreated files
Once your server is up and running, you’ll need to add some in-server content. These can be things like a new town, islands, or special events. There are many places to get them!

Install miscreated
If you want to run a role-play server, then you should make sure that your server has miscreated! This is a server management program that allows you to create “miscreated” roles, or “sub-functions” for your server.
A miscreated role can be any custom function that the server does, but not in collaboration with other roles. For example, your miscurned role can create custom menus or zones!
Using miscalled functions will give you more control over your server, as other users cannot just launch them on their own without your approval. It will also help prevent cheating and collusion, as only users who are truly qualified can work on the servers.
When creating a new misccised function, be sure to include all of the required fields.
Set up a database
Once your server is up and running, the most important step is to set up a database. You can call it a database, a server storage device, or whatever you like!
A database is a way of storing information in one location. For example, your server can hold your game data, user data, and computer data.
By putting the data in one place, you make it more difficult for someone to access and manipulate your information. This is important when we start talking about security.
You cannot harden a server without a database! But why create one? Why not just store all of your information in an external hard drive or device? Both of those things are necessary, but not sufficient!

Create a config.xml file

If not, then you can make your own!
Basic functions include: basic hosting, gamemode/gametype selection, ban mode/length, items/abilities, world update interval, and emergency stop/start (if ever needed).
Gamemode/item selection can get tricky as both of these depend on what each other mean! Make sure you know what each does.
Create a launch.sh file
When you’re ready to play your server, make sure you have run the initial setup process. If you created your server through our website or through the Xbox One or Windows 10 platform, then your server has now been launched!
If you created your server using the Xbox One or Windows 10 platform, then you should run the launch.exe file which is located in your \Users\Username\Appdata\Roaming\.minecraft folder.
Only run this if you have an internet connection because it will download and install a set of programs required to start and run your minecraft server. This includes programs to handle updates, handle user registration, and program management.
Upload images of your server layout
If you want your server to be featured on this blog, you must upload an image of your server layout. This image must be at least four inches by six inches and include your name, location, and the services you offer.
Using a template is also acceptable. Many bloggers use their own colors and designs to create their servers. You do not have to do this, but it may get you more recognition!
This image can be uploaded via computer or mobile device. Neither method works on the Internet except for transferring files. If you have to send or receive messages on the Internet, then you must use a mobile device or computer as the only access point.
Your image can be cute or scary, big or small, simple or complex. It does not matter if you cannot make an image because your phone or computer does not work because of Internet access.
