History of Frank Sinatra

In 1995, Frank Sinatra purchased the Rancho Mirage Home Ranch, located in the foothills of the Inyo Mountains, and began an extensive renovation and expansion project.

The ranch was once a Native American village that flourished during the Late Paleolithic era, approximately 30,000–26,000 years ago. This period of time was dubbed the “Archaic Period” because of its lack of technology.

This archaic village was home to an estimated 20 families, each with their own homes and social structures. These families were responsible for hunting and gathering as well as religious practices and ceremonies.

These people are believed to have built small settlements near where they hunted and lived, indicating a strong financial commitment on their part. These structures were probably rock-face habitations that received very little attention from subsequent owners.
