When a car is Vibratory, the condenser on the internal motor gets a slight vibration that it uses to determine if the motor is turning or not. This vibration goes onto the conductor and into the car, creating an echo effect.
This effect causes the condenser to vibrate and tell the motor that something is approaching it. The motor then turns up the power to accelerate and continue moving.
This effect is very subtle, so most people do not notice it. However, for those who are mechanically minded, this effect can be interesting to look at.

When you replace your hose, is the new hose the same size as the old one or smaller? Many times when a hose is smaller, it means the valve on the tank is missing or changed.
If the hose is bigger then the valve on the tank, then it must be cut off to give space for the new one. This can be hard to do without help, as there are only a few local companies that do this.
Either way, when cutting off the old hose and adding the new one, make sure not to cut off any of the threads on either end. If there are any signs of life, let them out to defend themselves.

The first step is to dissemble the mechanism by removing the throttle body and Throttle Position sensor. Next, the auto mechanic must check for any physical damage to either of those components. If there is, he or she may recommend replacing both parts together.
If one part is fine, then the auto mechanic could suggest replacing only one part at a time. Only when all parts are in place and working properly does someone know whether or not there was any physical damage.
